Introduction to Instruments

Introduction to Instruments is an elementary aged program designed to expose children to an array of different instruments throughout the school year.  Units include recorder, tin whistle, bucket drums, ukulele, piano, and hand percussion.

Students learn and develop a basic understanding of rhythms, music notes, playing in an ensemble, and a taste of each instrument.  Each instrument unit lasts between 3 - 6 weeks.  Children will be issued instruments and parents will have the option to purchase any of the instruments at the end of class.  Any damaged or lost instruments will be charged to the credit card on file.

Fall instruments will be tin whistle, piano, and bucket drums.
